QA automation engineer with Robot Framework: Level: Senior (5 – 9) yrs 

 Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated test scripts using Robot Framework (primary) with Python.
• Design and build API automation testing suit using Bruno.
• Develop additional automation solutions using Playwright and Selenium for UI and cross-browser testing.
• Define and implement QA automation processes, transforming a primarily manual testing team into a structured, automation-first QA practice. Documenting test processes in Qmetry.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and product managers to ensure comprehensive test coverage for real-time dashboards and data sources.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for faster, higher-quality releases.
• Work with test management tools such as Jira, QMetry, or similar for test case management, reporting, and defect tracking.
• Mentor and guide team members in adopting automation practices and modern QA tools.
• Document frameworks, test strategies, and QA processes to build a sustainable knowledge base.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, and retrospectives to align QA with development goals.

QA automation engineer with API Testing: Level: Mid-level (4 – 7) yrs 

• Job description:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in QA automation across functional and API testing.
• Experience in API Automation testing using Bruno or Postman.
• Hands on experience in Selenium, Backend API Testing, Database Testing, Integration Testing.
• Experience with Playwright and Selenium for UI and cross-browser testing.
• Practical exposure to AI in test automation (e.g., using GenAI/LLMs or agentic AI for test case design, test script optimization, or self-healing tests).
• Strong experience in API testing and data validation.
• Ability to establish automation frameworks and best practices from scratch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Job description:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium (Java), TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and industry-standard design patterns (POM, Factory, Data Driven, Hybrid).
• Work with the team to help transition from manual teams into automation, conducting training, creating guidelines, and defining the roadmap for progressive automation coverage.
• Create and maintain automated test suites for functional UI, regression, and API testing using Bruno for API validations.
• Integrate automation solutions into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.

Job description:

• 6+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on API testing (REST and event based services) and end-to-end validation.
• Proven experience testing e-commerce platforms, ideally with exposure to Hybris.
• Hands-on expertise with Robot Framework (Python) and experience with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent UI test frameworks.
• Strong background in regression testing – both manual and automated, ensuring full flow coverage.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing tools (e.g., K6, LoadRunner) and integration with test pipelines.
• Experience defining and maintaining monitoring and alerting for test and production environments.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Jira, QMetry, or similar test management tools.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills. Additional Skills
• Experience helping teams transition from manual to automation-first QA practices.
• Understanding of cloud-based test environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Exposure to AI-assisted testing or self-healing frameworks is a plus.
• Familiarity with containerised environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong sense of ownership and curiosity to improve processes and product reliability.
